The Leader Women of Seyhan

Women of Adana are discovering their power thorugh solidarity and kickstart social change from their neighborhoods. Women from various neighborhoods of Seyhan are telling us about a life changing, gender equality based training and how they began to take their part in production, education and all aspects of life while also raising their voices in the democratic decision making mechanisms as active citizens.

Ferzan Özyaşar

Discovering the power of video production during her undergrad studies, Ferzan Özyaşar is interested in social projects, field research, media studies and outdoor sports for over 20 years. Following her solid background as a sociologist, she tries her best to contribute to social change through media-politics research, freedom of speech, culture of living together and gender equality through film production research and social projects.
