Singabantu (We are Human) is an Afrophobia Awareness short film shot in the remains of a house in Rosettenville, Johannesburg, South Africa that was set alight and burnt to the ground by disgruntled residents during service delivery protests that turned into Afrophobic attacks.
Singabantu (We are Human) is the winner of the "I am Migrant" award at the 2017/18 United Nations Alliance of Civilizations Plural + Youth Migration Awards. It has been screened in 30 countries on 4 continents.

Louise Kanza is an award-winning activist, filmmaker and social entrepreneur from the Democratic Republic of Congo. Louise is passionate about the representation of asylum seekers, refugees, migrants and stateless people of Sub-Saharan Africa. Louise Kanza holds a Bachelor of International Relations and an Honours Degree in International Politics.
